Blue Tartan and Gentleman's Umbrella

I have finally found a blue and green tartan suit for under £40 in Primark of all places. I had been lusting after one for about a year now. I wore it with a vintage Biba black sparkly shirt that I have stolen from my mother hen, 3 hole dr martens and a gentleman's umbrella with a beautiful wooden handle. I purchased this umbrella from Acorn Antiques in Lytham which is a really cute antique shop with a few clothing items in, all priced very reasonably. It is worth a visit, with it's vintage cars parked outside.

Lyme Park and the Peak District

I have been visiting my family up north and have stayed in Glossop for the past week. We visited Castleton, which is a quaint village surrounded by caves that you can visit. I had the best chippy tea ever in the square there. We also went to Lyme Park, where some scenes of the Pride and Prejudice tv series was filmed. It was hilarious to see a giant soggy Mr Darcy emerging from the lake, in celebration of the series' 20th anniversary. Unfortunately, the house was closed but the grounds and gardens were beautiful. Here are also a few images from my Grandma's house. I love how her house is styled, especially these hats on the wall.
