These are my final garments from the Innovations 2 project. As you can see, I created a lingerie play suit and a pair of corseted high waisted trousers. The play suit acts as a foundation garment underneath the trousers, syncing in the waist and can be worn separately. The play suit also has embroidered padded hips to add extra curve to the body. The trousers contain boning and lacing to also shape the waist and hips into the classic 1950s hourglass shape. The ruffles on the trouser also echo the floral shapes I was inspired by. The outfit contains many lingerie elements, but can still be worn outside of the bedroom. Thank you to Emma for modelling them.
